Yelena Isinbayeva is an oustanding Russian pole-vaulter. She set numerous world records and became the first woman in the world to vault over 5 meters.

Yelena was four years old when she went to gymnastics school, but when she was 15 she was too tall for gymnastics (her height is 173 cm). Then she tried pole-vaulting and in 1998 she vaulted 4 metres. In the next 10 years Isinbayeva broke a lot of records and won lots of medals, including two Olympic gold medals.

Yelena finished her professional career in 2016. She is 36 years old now, she is married and has two children: a daughter and a son.

Her favourite actress is Angelina Jolie, her hobby is driving fast.
