Объясните, в чем состояли цели и методы колониальной политики европейцев.

Колонизация — выкачивание ресурсов из одной страны/региона и их поставка к хозяину колонии.
Ярким примером колонизации являлась Великобритания, захватившая почти половину земного шара в период колонизации. В Китае им был нужен опиум, на Индостане — чай и так далее. За такую политику экспансии (расширения территорий) ее прозвали «Империей, над которой никогда не заходит солнце».
В общем то методы захвата территорий были типичными для колонизаторов — навязывание «сохранности суверенитета» в обмен на ресурсы, а в случае отказа — война.
Сейчас мы можем наблюдать, как Африка и Азия, огромные территории которых фактически принадлежали европейцам, страдают сегодня от голода, войны и разрухи. Та же самая Британия спровоцировала рознь между Индией с одной стороны и Пакистаном с Бангладешем с другой.
