We waved happily at Uncle Bob as he drove away. Then, after a bit of trouble and a lot of laughter, Irvin and I set up a tent and lit the cooking stove. As we sat having our first meal at the camp-tinned spaghetti — we both agreed it was the beat food we had ever eaten. У цей літній відпочинок ми з моїм другом Ірвіном хотіли зробити щось інше. Замість того, щоб витрачати час на перегляд телевізора та грати в комп’ютерні ігри, як зазвичай, ми вирішили піти на похід. Отримавши дозвіл від батьків, ми почали планувати нашу поїздку. Ми склали список усіх продуктів і запасів, які нам знадобляться, і провели цілий день, шукаючи найкраще місце, щоб придбати наше обладнання для кемпінгу. Зрештою, наш намет, піч та спальні мішки коштували чималих грошей, але це того варте. Коли день нарешті настав, дядько Боб був добрий, щоб загнати нас у кемпінг після того, як він вийшов з роботи. Ми знали, що нам знадобиться пара годин, щоб дістатися туди, а Ірвін і я зростали все більше і більше збуджені, коли ми наблизилися до того, куди ми їхали.
