They had recorded a pair of people about 1½ metres tall climbing through a window at the back of the shop late on Saturday evening. “It seems clear that some children saw the open window and decided to steal the cards for their favourite game” said a police officer this afternoon, after we had contacted them about the events. “But because Mr Dilger said he wouldn’t complain to us, we haven’t begun an investigation.
